US Embassy Moves to Jerusalem: A False Peace - Part 1
READING TIME: 26 MINUTES
The following are the notes to part one of the discussion found at this link (https://www.facebook.com/tammy.cheetham.77/videos/393199754513072/?id=100014819433180) for anyone who would like to study the subject more in depth.
The purpose of this discussion is to warn believers to not promote, not support, and not be deceived by the events we witnessed on May 14 concerning moving the US embassy to Jerusalem. And, this is not so much because of the event itself; it is true that a nation should have the right to determine its capital city. But, it is the associations, the scriptures being ripped out of context, the deception, that we are warning about. We are literally watching the groundwork being laid for the antichrist and most of the evangelical church is fast asleep. We strongly recommend for the listeners to disassociate from any ministries celebrating the events on May 14; this is that serious.
And, we feel the best way to begin this discussion is for us to present some pertinent background information concerning Jews, Jerusalem, the Tribulation, and the Talmud as these relate to our topic today. Sister Tammy, would you go ahead and share what you have prepared, please?
Jerusalem is important to what are referred to as the three Abrahamic faiths, -Islam, Judaism, Christianity, which as true believers, we know all are not so. Abraham is not the “father” of those that have not their trust in Jesus Christ as the one who came to pay the sin debt and rise again.
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. - Gal 3:29.
Many proclaim that any Jew is automatically born again and has no need of repentance, but the Word of God clearly states otherwise when we hear Jesus addressing those that would claim to be born of Abraham and the hypocrisy they had – Firstly we see that not all Jews are true Jews –
Romans 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
John 8:37 - I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because My word hath no place in you.
John 8:39 - They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
Jesus acknowledged these were physical descendants of Abraham, but later goes on to say if they were really they would do the works of Abraham, which was believe on Jesus and justification by faith that would change their hearts, but they could not understand His speech. Jesus described these Jews as children of the devil so we must remember that being the physical seed of Abraham is not enough - Ye must be born again (John 3:3).
God promised to bless those who would bless the seed of Abraham and as we have distinguished here these who are the true seed then let this be so. Abraham is the “father” of all who believe (Romans 4:11–17). God will bless those that bless true believers, Jew, Gentile that have come to faith in Jesus– Abraham’s seed. And curse those that curse us - We are not called to bless a nation to receive blessing, but to give them the gospel.
The Word tells us that during the Tribulation God will purge the rebels.
Ezekiel 20:38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. This will happen during the Tribulation.
So where does this leave the believer in light of supporting Israel as a nation? I suggest we most definitely should support Israel’s right to exist as this will be where Jesus comes back, but we do not support the false gospels and enemies of the cross, we can pray for the peace that will come after the Tribulation and bless this nation with the Only Hope they have for entering the promise land after Jesus returns. This is the best way I can give to believers because we know God will take care of these situations and His will shall be accomplished without our needing to be present. He already has in place the end and we must continue to trust His Word alone.
If we try to fit something into this time that is meant for the end of the Tribulation then we might find ourselves in spiritual deception. The Jewish people will repent at the end of the Tribulation and true peace will not come here until Jesus comes back.
Jerusalem has never ceased to be God's place where Jesus will come to rule and reign after the time of Jacob's trouble. We must remember that the Jewish people will accept someone called the Antichrist thinking he is their promised Messiah, but a remnant will be saved. Many will be deceived by this man of sin, yet God will preserve His people that are not deceived and they will believe at the end. God knows who are His but they also do need to exercise freewill and repent. It's so amazing that God knows in advance who will accept the sacrifice Jesus paid on the cross for sinners! The Only Hope for the Jews is the Gospel of Jesus Christ and pray for them, that the Lord will do as His Word says and that they will repent, even for those individual Jews now that they will turn before this time does arrive.
The way all these religions can unite is by recognizing Jerusalem as a Holy Place, but true Christians know that Jerusalem has always belonged to the Lord and as always been where He will come to rule and reign at the second coming after the tribulation. Even if many are in favor of a place as is fitting in which as believers we will be looking forward to that day when Jesus returns, but these still need to acknowledge the Lord and be saved. Many are fighting for a solution to peace in the Middle East and are not reading the scriptures that tell us that there will be no peace – Matthew 24 explains a picture of the last days and this is no peace - For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Peace will come when Jesus the Prince of Peace returns at the second coming after the tribulation period, the tribulation will last for seven years Daniel 9:24-27– and that will include a man of sin – the Antichrist- ruling from Jerusalem in a false peace which will kick off the start of this tribulation period, The second three and a half years will be much worse than the first because after the three and a half years, the Antichrist will break his covenant with Israel and turn on them, he will enter the temple, where the abomination of desolation will be and claiming to be God. He will have an image that will somehow speak and the mark of the beast will be required by people to buy or sell during this time. Many will not survive the tribulation period but the Lord will have a remnant that will not take the mark of the beast and He will protect – Revelation 12. Israel will ultimately repent and God will restore what His Word promises to the believing remnant of Israel that will make it through the tribulation.
As I have said though before the full restoration of Israel at the Second Coming of Jesus Zech 12:10 - And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Rev. 1:7 - Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Before this happens there will be the ecumenical one world religion set up and eventually all will worship the beast and his image who have been deceived. There will be horrendous times when God pours out His wrath upon this world and the purpose is for the Jewish people to come to acknowledge their Messiah is Jesus, they will repent and believe and realize Jesus is the Christ. They will see Him as He is and God will have mercy and save. We must remember that God is in full control of this situation, but gives believers clear warning to be separate from these systems and not to support the wickedness of any nation or people, we are to come out from Babylon as pertaining to her sin and unbelief and system. We are to not join with other religions in the name of peace and safety, even if it is not the timing for the Antichrist to step out or even if it is, we are to remain separate because this was a command we were given for this time and always.
The three religions that I want to talk about are firstly Judaism – There is much talk on how this is a sect of Christianity and that the Jewish people are all going to be saved despite their unbelief and false gospel, the remnant that will believe upon the Lord will have to be saved the same way as any other believer because there is only one way of salvation, not a separate way for Jews, and Gentiles. In Christ there is neither Jew nor Gentile. We must keep this understanding clear, so we do not give over to a faulty ecumenical alliance with people stuck in the religion of Judaism but that we are clear to give them the Only Hope and not a twisted version despite their unbelief. You see the importance of not having an unequal yoke in these matters. The Lord will see to it that the Gospel shall be preached to His people, He will have the 144,000 Jews, the two witnesses and an angel all in the tribulation proclaiming the gospel of salvation. We cannot have a separate message at any time, otherwise we are accursed! So, what I am aiming to get at is that many will be deceived in this time because the Jewish people are looking for a Messiah, they have been waiting for a man to come and bring this peace and this is why they will accept the false messiah, the antichrist. These that have been deceived will take his mark and not be saved. So, we need to just be clear on the disturbing beliefs these have and see how they are in dire need of the gospel.
A basic description of the Talmud was given.
The Talmud, which literally means “learning,” is actually a vast library, consisting of sixty-three individual works, or “tractates.” This enormous collection of literature covers a range of subjects as diverse as biblical law, medicine, agriculture, and philosophy. It is the embodiment of what is called the “oral law” – a compilation of Jewish religious traditions developed over the centuries and handed down orally from generation to generation. The Talmud consists of two main parts – the Mishna, written in Hebrew around A.D. 200, and the Gemara, written in Aramaic, around A.D. 400 in Palestine and around A.D. 500 In Babylonia. The Gemara is related to the earlier Mishna in the same way as a Bible commentary is related to the biblical text. The mastery of this enormous collection of literature, sometimes referred to as the “sea of the Talmud” (yam hatalmud), requires a lifetime of diligent study. Various attempts over the years have been made to summarize Talmudic teachings into accessible “topics,” since the style and reasoning of the rabbis quoted in its pages is rather difficult to comprehend.
And, sister Tammy, I just wanted to insert this point: Some Orthodox Jews make it part of their practice to study a page of the Talmud every single day. This was put forward as a means of bringing Jewish people together (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/judaism/texts/talmud.shtml). A Gallup survey in 2015 determined that 65 percent of Israelis say they are either "not religious" or "convinced atheists," while 30 percent say they are "religious". Two-thirds of this 30 percent are either Orthodox or ultra-Orthodox. So, this means about 20 percent of the people in Israel study the Talmud and what you are about to share, sister Tammy, concerning their beliefs about Jesus is horrendous, to say the least (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Israel).
Jesus according to the Talmud
Jesus was born out of wedlock (Mishna Yebamoth 4,13) to His mother, Miriam, and her lover Pantera (Shabbat 104b). She is said to have been the descendant of princes and rulers, and to have played the harlot with a carpenter (Sanhedrin 106a). Jesus spent time in Egypt, from where He learned magic. He was a magician who deceived and led Israel astray. He mocked at the words of the wise, was tainted with heresy, and was thus excommunicated (Sanhedrin 107b). He called Himself God, also the Son of Man, and said that He would go up to heaven (Jerusalem Taanit 65a). He was “near to the kingdom” and had five disciples (Sanhedrin 43a). He was tried in Lydda as a deceiver and as a teacher of apostasy (Tosephta Sanhedrin X, 11: Jerusalem Sanhedrin 25c,d). He was executed in Lydda, on the eve of Passover, which was also the eve of the Sabbath, by being stoned and hung, or crucified (Tosephta Sanhedrin IX, 7). For forty days a herald proclaimed that He was to be stoned, and invited evidence in His favor, but none was given (Sanhedrin 43a). He (under the name of Balaam) was put to death by Pinchas the Robber (Pontius Pilate?) when He was thirty-three years old (Sanhedrin 106b). He was punished in Gehennaby the means of boiling filth (Gittin 56b, 57a). Finally, under the name of Balaam, He is one of those excluded from the world to come (Mishna Sanhedrin X, 2).
Thank you so much for all of that excellent information, sister Tammy. I pray the listeners will truly take all these things to heart.
Continuing with the idea of the things Jews believe, I want to share some from a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7Cui-E0DOY) in which a Jewish man asks various people in Israel “Who is Jesus to you?” and I just want to state several of the responses:
1) The Christian prophet; he was a righteous man like our Moses
2) I guess for me he is nothing (because) I’m not religious at all
3) Jesus is the founder of the Christian religion. I believe in what Judaism gave us and Jesus was a Jew who went to a different religion
4) A figure for people who cannot think on their own
5) There is a part of the Gemara (which you just mentioned, sister Tammy) that says he was a student of the rabbis, but he was a heretic
6) He is part of Christianity; he is not connected to us at all; we believe in the Torah; we have our own laws given to us; he was a Jew that became a Christian; they live in a fantasy that he walked on water; he believed in the cross; we have the star of David; we have our God in heaven; the laws, everything is in the Torah.
7) We have our own tradition which is very ancient and very ingrained and part of it is not believing in Jesus as the Messiah. We have a different picture of what the Messiah is. The Messiah is something that is going to happen in the future and it’s going to fix the world. And, it’s going to be the way it’s supposed to be when the Messiah comes and that hasn’t happened yet, so it’s pretty simple. But, the stronger answer is it’s just not in our tradition.
8) I believe in Karma. But, not in people, not Moses, not Muhammed, not Jesus. In my view, they are just symbols.
9) In principle, Jesus was a priest, a great priest. In the Kaballah, it says that they were in some sort of temple, all the important people were there. They would carry the true name of God on the bracelets, rings. They knew God’s true name and Jesus was one of them…So they had to leave the temple and cleanse their heads of the thought of the true name for God, the Divine Name. And, the story says that Jesus left with the Divine Name on him. He got powers from it. Divine powers. By the way, Jews say he walked on water. He really walked on water; it is not that we don’t believe in that, but it is because he knew the Divine Name. And, because he stepped in the same spots where in the past the twelve tribes of Israel stepped. On the Jordan there are twelve large stones; until today you can see the twelve stones if you dive and that is where he walked. In principle, Jesus was a Jew who preached for love and peace, and for him that’s what was important. If you ask my opinion, he led a following today that is a huge group, but he didn’t give them many tools like the Torah. He told them to love thy neighbor and preached love and peace which is excellent. I don’t want to minimize it. (The narrator then asks what tools are missing). The Torah, the secrets, how to work it. (The narrator says they have a Bible). The interpretations. It’s because of that the Gemara, or oral traditions, were written after Jesus 1600 years ago. In that there are many tools. (So, wow, basically, what a bunch of crazy ideas. But, first and foremost what we recognize is these people desperately need to hear the true gospel. Now, of course, the fact that they hear it doesn’t mean they will believe it, but they at least need the opportunity to hear it. Which means these ministries teaching that Jews have their own way of salvation need to shut down. And, we will discuss this more later, but for right now between these people’s responses and all you have shared, sister Tammy, we hope the listener will understand that Jews need the gospel, and they do not need “evangelical” Christians buddying up to them and supporting them in their rebellion against God).
Now, I want to discuss the speeches and prayers made at the ceremony itself on May 14. I found a video (https://www.facebook.com/TBN/videos/1703072146395974/) of a program on TBN showing most of the ceremony and then some interviews of people attending it. In this video they share a clip of Benjamin Netanyahu, from Oct. 5, 2017, speaking later in the day after Trump originally announced the embassy’s move. He says, “Jerusalem has been the focus of our hopes, our dreams, our prayers for three millennia…I want to make clear there will be no change whatsoever in the status quo with the holy sites. Israel will always ensure freedom of worship for Christians, Jews, and Muslims alike.” (Now, I find it odd for anyone to say that a city, any city, has been the focus of a people’s hopes, dreams, and prayers for three millennia. They would claim to believe in the one true God, but he is not their focus?)
Then, they showed a clip of the announcement I just mentioned, from Oct. 5, 2017, in which Trump said the following: “Jerusalem is today and must remain a place where Jews pray at the Western Wall, where Christians walk the stations of the cross, and where Muslims worship at Al-Aqsa mosque.” (In response to this statement I want to share just a bit of our discussion of Trump’s trip to Israel basically to show that he doesn’t understand what it means to believe in the one true God and Jesus Christ His Son). On May 23, 2017 he said, “Yesterday, I visited the Western Wall, and marveled at the monument to God’s presence and man’s perseverance. I was humbled to place my hand upon the wall and to pray in that holy space for wisdom from God. (Now, how many listening to this speech were so impressed by Trump saying he prayed for wisdom from God? But, as we have asked many times before, which god? He is standing at a “holy site” for the religion of Judaism and supposedly praying for wisdom from God. That is an abomination! It also was an abomination for him and any others who consider themselves Christians to pray with those of other religions as has been done on many occasions, from the Republican National Convention, to the inauguration, to the National Days of Prayer and the prayer breakfasts. God does not hear; He does not sanction; He does not authorize prayer to false gods as should be overly obvious! In 1 Kings 18 Elijah did not join with the prophets of Baal himself and neither did he instruct the Israelites to do so. He rather said, “How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him.” And, what did we see at this ceremony, but the very same actions of Christians and Jews praying together?)
Continuing with Trump’s speech from May of 2017: “We must build a coalition of partners who share the aim of stamping out extremists and violence, and providing our children a peaceful and hopeful future. But a hopeful future for children in the Middle East requires the world to fully recognize the vital role of the State of Israel. And, on behalf of the United States, we pledge to stand by you and defend our shared values so that together we can defeat terrorism and create safety for all of God’s children.” (But, as we have clearly outlined before, we are not all God’s children. John 1:12 tells us what makes someone a child of God. It says, “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. So Jews, or those of any other religion besides Christianity, cannot be considered children of God according to this verse because they do not believe on Jesus’ Name; they do not believe He is the Son of God. And, just to note, those of the Jewish faith would point to their belief in God, but John 8:19 says, “Then said they (speaking of the Pharisees, the Jewish leaders of Jesus’ day) unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know Me, nor My Father: if ye had known Me, ye should have known my Father also.” Also, in Luke 10:16 Jesus says to His disciples, “He that heareth you heareth Me; and he that despiseth you despiseth Me; and he that despiseth Me despiseth Him that sent Me. Additionally, 1 John 2:23 says, “Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.” It just cannot be any clearer that the Jews, while believing they have a relationship with the Almighty God of the Bible, do not know Him at all!)
Pres. Trump continued: “As we stand in Jerusalem, we see pilgrims of all faiths coming to this land to walk on this hallowed ground. Jews place the prayers from their hearts in the stone blocks of the beautiful Western Wall. Christians pray in the pews of an ancient church. Muslims answer the call to prayer at their holy sites. This city, like no other place in the world, reveals the longing of human hearts to know and to worship God.” (Again, no true believer speaks like this! Listen to this language. We can all have our own god and we can get along, hold hands, and sing kumbaya. This is heartbreaking! And, again, as we say so often, talk about the enemy coming as an angel of light! After this ceremony on May 14th celebrating the embassy’s new location in Jerusalem we can see even more so how easily the antichrist and the false prophet will come in, unite the religions, and then do away with religion per say, replacing it with worship of the antichrist).
Now, in this video from TBN they began sharing the video from the opening of the American embassy in Jerusalem. They didn’t include the full speeches in some cases so I have added links in a couple of cases:
The first person I want to mention is Robert Jeffress who is called to the podium, along with a rabbi, to pray. (About 59:30 left)Robert Jeffress is the pastor of the First Baptist Church in Dallas. Here are a few concerns we have about him: 1) He has stated the following: “I have great respect for Pope Francis. He’s a humble Christ-follower” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JNpiPKahSQ); 2) He is a member of Pres. Trump’s evangelical advisory board and the choir at his church has performed a song entitled, “Make America Great Again” (http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/340451-choir-sings-make-america-great-again-song-to-trump); and 3) After the death of Billy Graham, he said in reference to him, that there had never been a greater evangelist since the Apostle Paul (https://www.yahoo.com/news/pastor-jeffress-heartbroken-over-billy-134737264.html). Here is just one sentence from the prayer he prayed at the ceremony: “Israel has blessed this world by pointing us to You, the one true God through the message of her prophets, the scriptures, and the Messiah.” (Well, Israel today doesn’t point us to the one true God because they don’t know Him as we just read in John 8:19 and so forth. And, it is quite ironic that Jeffress mentions the Messiah, but doesn’t stop and think that the rabbi standing next to him, and the many Jews in the audience, don’t believe Jesus is the Messiah. And, let’s just stop and discuss why they don’t for a minute). According to an article entitled, “Mashiach: the Messiah,” the “belief in the eventual coming of the mashiach is a basic and fundamental part of traditional Judaism…In the Shemoneh Esrei prayer, recited three times daily, we pray for all of the elements of the coming of the mashiach: ingathering of the exiles; restoration of the religious courts of justice; an end of wickedness, sin and heresy; reward to the righteous; rebuilding of Jerusalem; restoration of the line of King David; and restoration of Temple service. The term "mashiach" literally means "the anointed one," and refers to the ancient practice of anointing kings with oil when they took the throne. The mashiach is the one who will be anointed as king in the End of Days. The word "mashiach" does not mean "savior." The notion of an innocent, divine or semi-divine being who will sacrifice himself to save us from the consequences of our own sins is a purely Christian concept that has no basis in Jewish thought. The mashiach will be a great political leader descended from King David (Jeremiah 23:5)…He will be well-versed in Jewish law, and observant of its commandments (Isaiah 11:2-5). He will be a charismatic leader, inspiring others to follow his example. He will be a great military leader, who will win battles for Israel. He will be a great judge, who makes righteous decisions (Jeremiah 33:15). But above all, he will be a human being, not a god, demi-god or other supernatural being. The world after the messiah comes is often referred to in Jewish literature as Olam Ha-Ba (oh-LAHM hah-BAH), the World to Come. Olam Ha-Ba will be characterized by the peaceful co-existence of all people (Isaiah 2:4). Hatred, intolerance and war will cease to exist. All of the Jewish people will return from their exile among the nations to their home in Israel (Isaiah 11:11-12; Jeremiah 23:8; 30:3; Hosea 3:4-5). The law of the Jubilee will be reinstated. In the Olam Ha-Ba, the whole world will recognize the Jewish G-d as the only true G-d, and the Jewish religion as the only true religion (Isaiah 2:3; 11:10; Micah 4:2-3; Zechariah 14:9). There will be no murder, robbery, competition jealousy. There will be no sin (Zephaniah 3:13). Sacrifices will continue to be brought in the Temple, but these will be limited to thanksgiving offerings, because there will be no further need for expiatory offerings. Jews do not believe that Jesus was the mashiach. He simply did not fulfill the mission of the mashiach as it is described in the biblical passages cited above. (So, we can see that Jews have an entirely different understanding of the Messiah than do Christians. They do take some scriptures that we believe describe the Millennium and say these describe the world once their mashiach appears, but to say all these improvements occur without Jesus ruling and reigning and without a change in people’s hearts doesn’t make any sense. I think the root problem is that they don’t want to believe in their need for a Saviour; they, apparently, would rather atone for their own sins). According to an article from Wikipedia on the Jewish views on sin if their repentance is not complete in this world, the suffering will continue in the life after (hell). After the repentance is complete they join the righteous (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_views_on_sin). (In addition, they refused to admit Isa. 53 concerning the appearance of the Messiah as a suffering Servant because they were so intent on a Messiah appearing who would destroy their foes and put them in charge. Sadly, there is a lot of pride involved as there is for many today who do not want to bow the knee).
Now, keeping all this concerning the beliefs of Jews about their mashiach, who again is not Jesus Christ in their minds, here is what Rabbi Zalman Wolowick said right after Robert Jeffress’ prayer: “It is with profound gratitude to God Almighty that I address you here today at the embassy of the United States to Israel, in the holy city and eternal capital of the Jewish people, Jerusalem. Truth is not determined by popular opinion. It is eternal, not ephemeral; unchanging, not relative. Truth stands the test of time. While empires, ideologies and philosophies rise and fall, the Jewish people’s attachment to this holy city has never waned or faltered; it is truth. I pray that from today’s exalting of truth there flows to Jerusalem, her neighbors, and to the entire world, a true and perfect peace. May that day visualized by the prophet swiftly arrive; when nation shall not take up its sword against nation. When there will be harmony, not war; respect, not envy; love, not hate. In the words of the psalmist who sang his longing for peace, not far from right here, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, May those who love you be at peace, amen.” (Well, again they do not know God Almighty because they do not know His Son, according to John 8:19, and so forth, as we have mentioned. And, to this rabbi we would say the Jewish people’s attachment to Jerusalem is not truth; Jesus Christ is truth. The Jesus Christ you refuse to acknowledge, but you would rather look to a man to establish that which Jesus Christ will establish when He returns to rule and reign. The phrase, “nation shall not take up its sword against nation,” is from Isa. 2 which is a Millennial passage and ironically enough the last verse of this chapter says, “Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?” It’s just so silly the things man chooses to believe because they refuse to submit to the true God of the Bible and His Son Jesus Christ).
Now, I want to mention Pres. Trump again. He didn’t attend the event, but rather spoke by video. Here are a few of his statements:
“As I said in December, our greatest hope is for peace. The United States remains fully committed to facilitating a lasting peace agreement, and we continue to support the status quo at Jerusalem's holy sites, including at the Temple Mount, also known as Haram al-Sharif. This city and its entire nation is a testament to the unbreakable spirit of the Jewish people. The United States will always be a great friend of Israel and a partner in the cause of freedom and peace.
We wish Ambassador Friedman good luck as he takes up his office in this beautiful Jerusalem embassy, and we extend a hand in friendship to Israel, the Palestinians and to all of their neighbors. May there be peace. May God bless this embassy. May God bless all who serve there. And may God bless the United States of America” (https://www.politico.com/story/2018/05/14/text-trump-on-opening-of-us-embassy-in-jerusalem-transcript-584452) (Well, again, I have no clue what god Pres. Trump thinks will do all this blessing. The true God is abhorred by those who would claim to know Him, but who would misrepresent Him; those who would continue to speak of peace without acknowledging that this earth will not experience true peace until Jesus returns to rule and reign; those who would participate in the slaughter of millions of unborn children).
Sister Tammy, I think this is a good place to end part one of this discussion. We will begin part two by sharing Jared Kushner’s speech at the embassy ceremony.
