Max Lucado
According to this article (https://www.christianpost.com/news/tony-evans-max-lucado-call-for-peace-this-election.html?uid=a190fc837d) “some 200 evangelicals leaders have signed onto a letter titled "A 2020 Call for Biblical Peacemaking: Evangelical Leaders’ Statement on Violence and Division," that urges believers to rise up as peacemakers.
Max Lucado is among the nearly 200 evangelicals who've signed onto the letter. He is a New York Times bestselling author and preacher at Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas.
Many believe it is all right to sign onto initiatives that claim a positive outcome without knowing the beliefs of those who are involved, but that is folly.
Concerning Max Lucado, he tweeted the following about NAR heretic Bill Johnson on Sept. 19, 2019: “Enjoyed a special conversation with Bill Johnson – such a tender heart.”

In addition, he was the featured guest on Jen Hatmaker’s podcast entitled “For the Love of Faith Icons: episode 01.” Jen Hatmaker is a supporter of “gay Christianity” who also joins with pro-abortion political groups to work for “women’s rights.”
He is the author of 32 books, one of which is the “Cure for the Common Life” in which he quotes Richard Foster and Thomas Merton, well-known advocates of contemplative prayer, and Eugene Peterson, author of the Message “Bible.” In this book Lucado tells readers they each have a “divine spark.” However, it is a panentheistic notion that this divine spark Lucado refers to is in every human being and every part of creation.
