GREG LAURIE – SENIOR PASTOR, HARVEST CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
There were over 300 “faith leaders” who supported Franklin Graham’s Special Day of Prayer for Pres. Trump on June 2. (https://www.facebook.com/notes/connie-schuetz-wright/special-day-of-prayer-june-2-2019/620410158462960/)
I am going to share a series of Facebook posts concerning the ecumenical outlook of some of these “faith leaders.” Many of these are part of the WOF and NAR and preach the false doctrines inherent in these systems so we already know we should not follow their ministries. The examples I will share in these posts, demonstrating their ecumenism, provide even more reasons to mark and avoid them. So many are leading their followers straight to Rome and, sadly, many of their adherents are oblivious to the dangers involved. The groundwork continues to be laid for the one world religion and the one world government, but the Lord says, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Rev. 18:4).

Now for the ecumenical examples:
The 13th annual Lifest Christian rock festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, featured five days of rock & roll, complete with a Catholic mass and a message by well-known evangelical speaker Greg Laurie. Some 20,000 people gathered July 6-10 in 2011 to hear “Christian” rock groups such as Hawk Nelson, Skillet, TobyMac, Lincoln Brewster, MercyMe, Superchick, Newsboys, and Kutless. Greg Laurie of International Harvest Crusades, spoke on the last day of the event, preceded by a Catholic mass led by bishop David Ricken of the Diocese of Green Bay. In January of 2016, Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio spoke at a town hall meeting and told an atheist in the audience that he won't be "forced" to stop talking about his faith on the campaign trail and argued that atheists should want his faith to influence his decisions. Here are a few of Rubio’s statements: "Christianity is a free gift and we Christians believe that salvation is a free gift that has to be willfully accepted. You can't force it on people. You have a right to believe in whatever you want. Now, I am going to share my faith, especially when I am asked. Because, my faith influences who I am and every aspect of my life." Greg Laurie posted this tweet in response to Marco Rubio’s statements: “How Marco Rubio’s faith influences him. Very impressive.” (https://twitter.com/greglaurie/status/689864295018995712)
Previously, in November of 2015, Marco Rubio had described his journey of faith to a group of 50 pastors in the following terms: “Catholicism to Mormonism back to Catholicism to a Southern Baptist Convention-affiliated evangelical megachurch and finally back to Catholicism.” (https://www.politico.com/…/marco-rubios-crisis-of-faith-213…)

In this video published on Aug. 28, 2016 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZHuzzEKHfU), Greg Laurie interviews Catholic actor and producer Mel Gibson regarding Gibson's film, “Hacksaw Ridge.” The movie tells the story of WWII hero Desmond Doss. Doss was a Medal of Honor recipient whose faith in God is said to have carried him through the war. In the interview Gibson also discusses how his faith impacts his filmmaking.
At the 6:20 mark of the video Greg Laurie says, "I would say Hacksaw Ridge is the best depiction of a Christian in a mainstream film that I have seen since "Chariots of Fire."
(Note: However, Doss was a Seventh-Day Adventist, and as already stated, Mel Gibson is a Catholic. Sadly, Greg Laurie’s interview can do nothing except confuse people concerning the one true faith of the Bible).

Greg Laurie prayed for those who serve at the interfaith Washington National Cathedral Prayer Service held on Jan. 21, 2017. Members of the Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Mormon, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Hindu and Bahá’í traditions also spoke and prayed. (https://www.christianitytoday.com/…/trump-washington-nation…)

On March 1, 2018 Greg Laurie posted the following tweet: “Congrats to @RealRomaDowney on the release of her new book, ‘Box of Butterflies!’” (https://twitter.com/greglaurie/status/969214375306280961…)
(Note: Roma Downey is a new age Catholic and Greg Laurie should be warning about her influence rather than endorsing her book. Please see this link for information on her new age beliefs: (https://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com/blog/?p=16968) and this link concerning her religious beliefs (https://www.washingtonpost.com/…/…/09/gIQATJNT1Q_video.html…)
