RALPH REED – FAITH & FREEDOM COALITION
There were over 300 “faith leaders” who supported Franklin Graham’s Special Day of Prayer for Pres. Trump on June 2. (https://www.facebook.com/notes/connie-schuetz-wright/special-day-of-prayer-june-2-2019/620410158462960/)
I am going to share a series of Facebook posts concerning the ecumenical outlook of some of these “faith leaders.” Many of these are part of the WOF and NAR and preach the false doctrines inherent in these systems so we already know we should not follow their ministries. The examples I will share in these posts, demonstrating their ecumenism, provide even more reasons to mark and avoid them. So many are leading their followers straight to Rome and, sadly, many of their adherents are oblivious to the dangers involved. The groundwork continues to be laid for the one world religion and the one world government, but the Lord says, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Rev. 18:4).

Now for the ecumenical examples:
Ralph Reed was the first executive director of the Christian Coalition from the early 1990s until 1997. In Dec. of 1995 the Christian Coalition inaugurated a Catholic auxiliary named the Catholic Alliance. Reed described its purpose in an interview (https://www.crisismagazine.com/…/ralph-reed-on-catholics-an…):
“It really has a two-fold purpose beginning with an outgrowth of what has been a major emphasis on outreach and bridge building with Roman Catholics. If you go back to our original mission statements, there was always a heavy flavor of ecumenism. We have been bringing in not only evangelicals, which is our traditional base, but people in mainline denominations who are with us on many of the issues, as well as Roman Catholics and also, later, Jews, to build an organization that would bring together people from different faith traditions based on a shared Judeo-Christian value system.”
In an interview with the New York Times, Mr. Reed called the Catholic Alliance "the most significant flowering of ecumenical cooperation" since the divisions of Reformation in the 16th century. He added: "We must focus on what unites us rather than what divides us. We have got to unite together to turn America to moral greatness again." On Sept. 21, 2010, Glenn Beck hosted Ralph Reed on his radio program. Here are a few of the statements:
Glenn Beck: “Ralph Reed is a friend of mine…I first have to publicly thank him for his help on 8-28 and all he did on Restoring Honor. He was one of the guys who helped put the original Black-robed regiment together.” (https://www.mediamatters.org/…/beck-hosts-ralph-reed…/170919)
(Note: Glenn Beck's speech at the Restoring Honor rally urged Americans of all religions to turn to their faith in God, "turning our face back to the values and principles that made us great." Beck called for Americans to unite despite political or religious disagreements. There were 240 clergy from different races and religions – belonging to the ecumenical ministerial group, the Black Robe Regiment – who joined the event's speakers on stage before its closing statements. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ralph Reed held a Faith & Freedom Conference June 14-16, 2012 in Washington, DC, and one of the speakers was Glenn Beck (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6GPm3wp3T8).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ralph Reed prayed at this year’s National Day of Prayer held on May 2. (https://www.facebook.com/ffcoalition/videos/443139459779679/)
Here are some of his statements: “Father, we gather together this morning, grateful to You that we live in a nation where You have given us the right to worship You and to honor You without fear and without favor…God, we pray for unity for our nation today…God, we pray for a moral renewal in our nation…We ask it all in the Name above every name, Jesus Christ.”
(Note: However, standing behind him as he prayed, and also taking their turns to pray, were the following people: Catholic priest, Fr. Charles Trullols, a Hindu woman who chanted the Gayatri Mantra, Mormon Joy D. Jones, Muslim Lt. Dawud Abdul-Aziz Agbere, US Army Chaplain Corps, and Rabbi Abba Cohen. It is quite incorrect to pray, “Father, we gather together…” when the people with you do not have the God of the Bible as their Father. In addition, there is no "we" when praying in the Name of Jesus if those with you don't acknowledge He is the Son of God).
