ALVEDA KING – DIRECTOR OF CIVIL RIGHTS FOR THE UNBORN
There were over 300 “faith leaders” who supported Franklin Graham’s Special Day of Prayer for Pres. Trump on June 2. (https://www.facebook.com/notes/connie-schuetz-wright/special-day-of-prayer-june-2-2019/620410158462960/)
I am going to share a series of Facebook posts concerning the ecumenical outlook of some of these “faith leaders.” Many of these are part of the WOF and NAR and preach the false doctrines inherent in these systems so we already know we should not follow their ministries. The examples I will share in these posts, demonstrating their ecumenism, provide even more reasons to mark and avoid them. So many are leading their followers straight to Rome and, sadly, many of their adherents are oblivious to the dangers involved. The groundwork continues to be laid for the one world religion and the one world government, but the Lord says, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Rev. 18:4).

Now for the ecumenical examples:
Since 2009, in Atlanta, Georgia, Catholic clergy and faithful have been coming together with Orthodox clergy and faithful twice a year for ecumenical gatherings under the leadership of Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory and Metropolitan Alexios.
The gatherings rotate between the cathedrals of both churches, and the evenings provide prayer, reflection, hymnody and a keynote address. Keynote speakers in the past have included Catholic and Orthodox leaders along with Dr. Alveda King. (https://atlmetropolis.org/news/ecumenical-group-convenes)

On August 28, 2010, Alveda King spoke at Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally held at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.
"I am attending this rally to help reclaim America," she told "Good Morning America's" Ron Claiborne from Capitol Hill. "I'm joining Glenn to talk about faith, hope, charity, honor. (https://abcnews.go.com/…/alveda-king-speaks-glenn-be…/story…)
Beck's speech at the rally urged Americans of all religions to turn to their faith in God, "turning our face back to the values and principles that made us great." Beck called for Americans to unite despite political or religious disagreements. There were 240 clergy from different races and religions – belonging to the ecumenical ministerial group, the Black Robe Regiment – who joined the events' speakers on stage before its closing statements. Alveda King spoke at a conference held at the Vatican from Dec. 11-13, 2017. It was called “Catholic Inspired Organizations: Promoters of Humanity in a Transforming World.”
She also had an audience with Pope Francis while in Rome. The author and activist expressed delight at the pontiff’s ministry and style, praising his ability to relate and be close to the average person stating, “He is a man after my own heart!”
Ecumenical collaboration is at the heart of promoting a culture of life in the U.S. and in the world, King said, and quoted her uncle’s famous 1963 ‘I have a dream!’ speech in Washington D.C. (https://cruxnow.com/…/pro-life-superstar-alveda-king-sees-…/)
Another news outlet reported that King was deeply moved when the pope asked her to pray for him. "[It was a] delightful moment," and she felt "very blessed to of course do that. I do pray for him and for all who are in authority, that we can live a peaceful life." (https://www.breakingchristiannews.com/art…/display_art.html…)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alveda King prayed for those who govern at the interfaith Washington National Cathedral Prayer Service held on Jan. 21, 2017. Members of the Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Mormon, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Hindu and Bahá’í traditions also spoke and prayed.
