Os Hillman
Os Hillman is a major proponent of the 7MM that is part of the false teaching of Dominion Theology.
His book, “Change Agent,” describes his views concerning the 7MM and the role he thinks believers are to play. Here is the description of this book:
“Whether you are a CEO, housewife, student, manager, or church leader, you have a circle of influence and the ability to shape your culture for God’s purpose--to be a change agent.”
“Our culture is shaped by the seven mountains of cultural influence: business, government, media, arts and entertainment, education, the family, and the church. Featuring a chapter on each of the seven cultural mountains, Change Agent describes where we are, what we must do to influence these strategic areas, and what success will ultimately look like.” (https://www.amazon.com/Change-Agent-Engaging-Passion-Difference/dp/1616381825)
Additionally, Os Hillman is president of Marketplace Leaders and Aslan Group Publishing, and is involved in several entrepreneur ventures related to publishing and internet marketing. He is an author of 18 books, a speaker, a consultant and a recognized authority in the role that faith and ethics play in the marketplace.
In his article (https://elijahlist.com/words/display_word.html?ID=25289) from the Elijah List, published on April 5, Os Hillman makes the following errors:
Dear brethren, I would like to submit that this is an occasion where Deut. 13:1-3 should be applied. Here are the verses:
13:1 “If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”
The fact that Os Hillman received this call from someone ordering 300 books out of the blue could fall in the category of a “sign or wonder,” and the fact that he teaches the false theology of dominionism shows he is leading people to follow false “gods.”

- He states Job 22:28 - which says, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways” – as supposed proof we can employ this verse to work to our advantage - However, this statement was spoken by Eliphaz the Temanite. In Job 42:7 God absolutely rebuked this man. This verse says, “And it was so, that after the Lord had spoken these words unto Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.” To assume this scripture provides any instructions for Christ’s disciples to follow today is folly.
- He quotes the Passion Translation throughout. He apparently doesn’t know or doesn’t care that Brian Simmons, the main translator, has virtually no training that would support his work on this project. For more information concerning the errors involved please see this link (https://www.thenarrowpath.co.uk/an-expose-of-brian-simmons-and-the-passion-translation.html).
- He relates the story of a time he had 1,000 copies of one of his books he needed to sell due to an agreement with the publisher since he was a new author. For months he was only getting 2 or 3 sales per week. Then one morning he awoke with Mark 11:23 on his mind. He came to the conclusion he was supposed to “speak” to his “mountain” of books so he stated: "In the name of Jesus I command you to get out of my basement and go be a blessing to someone who needs these books!" He says it was a Saturday when businesses were normally closed, but that he received a call from a ministry that ordered 300 books that day. He concluded, “Wow! This stuff works!"
