The Toronto Airport Christian fellowship began in January 1994, inspired by some of the most dangerous false Word of Faith teachings and bizarre happenings that were taking place within that which claims to be of the Church of Jesus. The TACF changed their name and they are now called Catch The Fire and have a website with many of their false doctrines still permeating throughout the Church and the world because of this false revival.
Catch The Fire share the following from their "About" link on their website:
Catch The Fire is an international family of churches and ministries that was birthed as a result of the incredible revival that began in Toronto in 1994. Led by John & Carol Arnott, the church (formerly Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship) came to the world's attention as a place where God was meeting with His people.
Catch The Fire has a growing family of churches spread across the globe, a training college with international campuses, missions programs, partnerships, and special events. Our desire is to reach the world with Jesus through the sharing of our values, equipping people, and releasing them to bring revival to their nations. (http://catchthefire.com/About/History)
Pastors John and Carol Arnott founded the Toronto Airport Vineyard church around 1988. It met in various rented locations throughout Toronto until the early 1990s when the church found a more permanent home near the Lester B. Pearson Airport. On 20th January 1994, Randy Clark, a Vineyard pastor from St. Louis, Missouri, was invited by TACF’s pastor, John Arnott, to lead a local church revival.
In 1995 the church joined John Wimber’s Vineyard Movement and became known as Toronto Airport Vineyard Church, now known as the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship or TACF, a multi-site church with campuses meeting in various venues throughout the Greater Toronto Area. TACF Airport is the primary and largest campus.
After the break with Wimber and the Vineyard in 1995, the church founded “Partners in Harvest”, a group of churches that shared similar beliefs. Their website is: https://www.partnersinharvest.org/about./
Wikipedia shares the following information about The Toronto "Blessing":
The Toronto blessing began at the Airport church when pastors John and Carol Arnott were inspired by a revival in Argentina led by Claudio Freidzen and in South Africa. They invited Randy Clark of St. Louis, Missouri to minister at the church in January 1994. Randy Clark had been influenced by the ministry of Rodney Howard-Browne, a South African preacher, founder of the Rodney Howard-Browne Evangelistic Association in Louisville, Kentucky, and the earliest known proponent of the "holy laughter" revival phenomenon. Clark preached at the Airport church for two months starting January 20 and introduced some of Howard-Browne's approach into TACF practice. In that first revival service, there were about 120 people in attendance. Arnott recalled that most members fell on the floor "laughing, rolling, and carrying on". During that first year, the church's size tripled to 1,000 members and meetings were held every night except on Mondays as the revival's influence spread. Reports of similar revivals emerged from Atlanta, Anaheim, Saint Louis, several Canadian sites, Cambodia, and Albania. It was common for visitors to carry the influence of the revival back to their home congregations – two notable British cases in point being Holy Trinity, Brompton and Holy Trinity, Cheltenham. Areas that have become known for Toronto Blessing type revivals worldwide include Pensacola, Florida, home of the Brownsville Revival, and Bath, England.
No where is the Holy Spirit disorderly and He always points to Jesus Christ and His Finished Work on the Cross alone. He will never point to self and He convicts of sin and calls for repentance. The Holy Spirit does not cluck like a chicken or bark like a dog and roll around the floor laughing uncontrollably. He never desires the focus to be on Himself but on Jesus Christ.
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. (John 15:26).
The Toronto Blessing refers to the supposed outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the people attending the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship Church, which at the time was the Toronto Airport Vineyard Church. On January 20, 1994, a Pentecostal pastor named Randy Clark spoke at the church and gave his testimony of how he would get drunk in the Spirit and laugh uncontrollably. In response to this testimony, the congregation erupted in pandemonium with people laughing, growling, dancing, shaking, barking like dogs, and even some even being stuck in positions of paralysis. These experiences were attributed to the Holy Spirit entering people’s bodies. The pastor of the church, John Arnott, referred to it as a big Holy Spirit party. The moniker “Toronto Blessing” was given, and the church was soon in the international spotlight.
When this “blessing” is held to the light of Scripture, however, it can scarcely be called a blessing; abomination, maybe, but not blessing. Absolutely nowhere in Scripture can one find any precedent for what was happening at the Toronto Airport church, except, perhaps, the physical conditions demon-possessed people suffered. In fact, the Toronto Airport church became so embroiled in emotional outbursts and psychological displays that Pastor Arnott ceased preaching salvation, and instead preached about the party of the Holy Spirit. Experiences were being held in higher authority than Scripture. (https://truthinreality.com/2012/09/16/the-toronto-blessing/)
The false teachings coming from the Catch The Fire ministries are Dominionist/NAR and this website gives a more in detail explanation of the heresy involved.
Please do not have anything to do with this movement and check out the Word of God. If it doesn't line up with Scripture, then avoid.
Stacey Campbell attended the 20th anniversary of the Toronto "Blessing".
Here is a video showing the bizzare head shaking and uncontrollable actions in operation during this time. During this video Stacey shares false prophecy. She claims that society will be changed by a generation and society will not change them. This is part of the seven mountain mandate and nowhere in the Bible does this say it will happen. The Bible states that evil men and seducers will wax worse in the last days and that apostasy will be the mark of the last days. The government will not be changed until Jesus Christ comes to rule and reign at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Toronto and The Alpha Course Connection
Nicky Gumbel, curate at Holy Trinity, Brompton ‘received the blessing’ from Eleanor Mumford, wife of Pastor John Mumford of the Southwest London Vineyard, following her return from Toronto in May 1994.
Upon her arrival back in England, she testified of her experiences in Toronto and the Laughing Revival broke out in the Vineyard congregation, both in the general services and in various house meetings. One of these which was attended by Nicky Gumbel. The moment Eleanor Mumford “invited the Holy Spirit to come” one person was thrown across the room and lay on the floor howling and laughing, “making the most incredible noise.” Another man lay on the floor “prophesying.” Some appeared to be drunken. Gumbel testified that he had an experience “like massive electricity going through my body.”
Nicky Gumbel spends a substantial amount of time relating to Alpha participants in video 3 talk 9, exactly how this occurred:
"Ellie Mumford told us a little bit of what she had seen in Toronto... .it was obvious that Ellie was just dying to pray for all of us.. then she said 'Now we'll invite the Holy Spirit to come.' and the moment she said that one of the people there was thrown, literally, across the room and was lying on the floor, just howling and laughing....making the most incredible noise....I experienced the power of the Spirit in a way I hadn't experienced for years, like massive electricity going through my body... One of the guys was prophesying. He was just lying there prophesying. . ."
Later Sandy Millar, vicar of Holy Trinity Brompton, invited Eleanor Mumford to speak at both the morning and evening Sunday services on May 29 and the rest, as they say, is history. Holy Trinity Brompton had become the British headquarters for the so called Toronto Blessing, sealed by Millar’s visit to Toronto a few days later.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
1 John 4:1.
“For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”
2 Corinthians 11:4.
