Donald Trump: A Deceitful Worker

The following are the notes to the discussion found at this link (https://www.facebook.com/tammy.cheetham.77/videos/399744777191903/) for anyone who would like to study the subject more in depth.
We are seeing so many posts praising Pres. Trump as if he is a great Christian leader and then, of course, we know so many people who unashamedly promoted him for president and we just wanted to do a short discussion warning people against this type of thinking. We want to encourage people to stop following man and stop following men who are telling them to follow man.
President Trump is no different than the other presidents. The candidates, no matter which side, are two wings of the same bird. Here is a statement by a former Freemason and I believe it is the absolute truth: ““I have said for many years, if they can get to the place where they can get their name on the ballot for either the Democrats or Republicans, they have sold their soul to this one world order, this one world government and this just happens to be a fact.” Yet, we have heard pastors say he is the greatest president ever and they would love to meet him!
Evangelical leaders went to great lengths to try and influence people to vote in this last election, and they were obviously meaning they wanted people to vote for Trump because they would talk about how bad the other side was. They even went so far as to say people weren’t saved if they didn’t vote which is so totally unbiblical. Now, we realize Hillary presented the obvious evil in the last election, and we’re not saying we’re for her, we like her, or any of that. But, many don’t realize Trump is every bit as evil, and even more so actually, because he is fulfilling scriptures such as Isa. 5:20 and 2 Cor. 11:13-14 and is deceiving many. Isa. 5:20 says: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” And, then, 2 Cor. 11:13-14 says, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” (Now, obviously Pres. Trump is not claiming to be a minister of any sort, but he is definitely a deceitful worker. Sister Tammy, can you share what you have prepared at this point, please?)
Yes, sure. In July 2015 Trump, made the comments about his faith during a Q&A at the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa.
When moderator Frank Luntz asked Trump whether he has ever asked God for forgiveness for his actions. His response was, "I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don't think so," he said. "I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don't bring God into that picture. I don't."
Trump said that while he hasn't asked God for forgiveness, he does participate in Holy Communion. “When I drink my little wine -- which is about the only wine I drink -- and have my little cracker, I guess that is a form of asking for forgiveness, and I do that as often as possible because I feel cleansed," he said. "I think in terms of 'let's go on and let's make it right.'"
WHERE IS JESUS IN THIS? We cannot make the wrongs right by our own self, we look to what Jesus did on the cross He then forgives and give the power to live right, even repent and ask for forgiveness though His Son. So we MUST bring God into the picture, you see how this is another gospel? We cannot save ourselves!
The communion does not cleanse anyone from their sins. This is a works based salvation and the only way we can be cleansed is by being washed in the blood of Jesus, we take communion to REMEMBER the sacrifice Jesus did, this act of taking communion cannot make anyone cleanse, taking your little cracker is not a form of asking for forgiveness. Only Jesus can forgive sinners, not us doing anything, even anything religious. So many have this idea like if they are baptized then they are a Christian, etc. Same concept and a completely changed gospel. We must be discerning if we do not want to be deceived; look to Jesus.
(Thank you so much for that and that is the perfect explanation and it shows clearly how he is deceiving people. He is being a deceitful worker…And, I want to give two examples of how he is fulfilling these scriptures and deceiving so many).
One example is that many people were so excited about Pres. Trump making statements concerning faith, God, and Jesus at the National Day of Prayer service held in the Rose Garden on May 3. For some odd reason these same people were not bothered by the fact that this was an ecumenical prayer service as evidenced by the following: Hindu priest Narayanachar Digalakote said this, “Namaste. All of us are divine. I bow to the divinity in all of you.” Mormon Jean B. Bingham, Rabbi Levi Shemtov of the Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington, Archbishop of Washington Cardinal Donald Wuerl, also “prayed” at this occasion. Here is a statement by Pres. Trump: "Faith is more powerful than government, and nothing is more powerful than God."
He then launched into the story of Jon Ponder, who is now the CEO and founder of Hope for Prisoners, Inc. "Jon ... ended up in federal prison, relegated to solitary confinement. That's where God found him," continued the President. "Jon began to read the Bible and listen to Christian radio. One morning at 2am he woke up to the voice of the great Billy Graham ... 'Jesus wants to be Lord of your life.' That night Jon dedicated his life to Christ..."
Trump continued, "Your story reminds us that prayer changes hearts and transforms lives. It uplifts the soul, inspires action and unites us all as one nation under God." http://www.breakingchristiannews.com/articles/display_art.html?ID=24676 https://www.facebook.com/100007541057587/videos/2015898148671534 (Sister Tammy, I didn’t hear anything about repentance in this account. And, for Pres. Trump to reference Billy Graham as the “great” Billy Graham is quite concerning because he was the most ecumenical preacher ever. Additionally, the president said that prayer changes hearts and transforms lives, but we are saved and transformed by the sacrifice of Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit. And, then, some may think God doesn't mind if we join in with these ecumenical events. Some may think God honors those prayers at these occasions, but He does not. I pray for people to wake up to the fact the groundwork for the one world religion is being laid before our very eyes and this is the deception the president brings as tool of the devil and this is how he is fulfilling the scriptures I just gave. In addition, believers really need to stop following any preachers who would promote the National Day of Prayer because it is a completely ecumenical event and it dishonors God. I pray for people to wake up to this deception and stop being so excited because Pres. Trump says a few Christian phrases).
And, then, we want to mention this whole business with the president hosting his first White House dinner for Islam's holy month of Ramadan. (https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/trump-hosts-first-iftar-dinner-recognizes-islam-one-world-s-n880841).
You know, I truly have no idea why anyone is surprised about this because he has absolutely telegraphed his beliefs all along! Here are a few examples:
Sajid Tarar, the founder of American Muslims for Trump, delivered an Islamic prayer at the Republican National Convention in July of 2016. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5DCuEFNgMQ).
In addition, Sajid Tarar read from the Koran in Arabic at the National Prayer Service at the Washington National Cathedral held on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017. Imam Mohamed Magid, executive director of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society, presented a reading as well. (http://christiannews.net/2017/01/21/trump-pence-attend-prayer-service-featuring-muslim-buddhist-sikh-invocations-liberty-univ-praise/).
The following are a few of the remarks made by Pres. Trump at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem on May 23, 2017: “As we stand in Jerusalem, we see pilgrims of all faiths coming to this land to walk on this hallowed ground. Jews place the prayers from their hearts in the stone blocks of the beautiful Western Wall. Christians pray in the pews of an ancient church. Muslims answer the call to prayer at their holy sites. This city, like no other place in the world, reveals the longing of human hearts to know and to worship God. (https://www.timesofisrael.com/full-text-of-donald-trumps-speech-at-the-israel-museum/)
On May 26, 2017, Pres. Trump stated the following as part of his Presidential Message on Ramadan: “On behalf of the American people, I would like to wish all Muslims a joyful Ramadan. During this month of fasting from dawn to dusk, many Muslims in America and around the world will find meaning and inspiration in acts of charity and meditation that strengthen our communities. At its core, the spirit of Ramadan strengthens awareness of our shared obligation to reject violence, to pursue peace, and to give to those in need who are suffering from poverty or conflict.” (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/statement-president-donald-j-trump-ramadan/)
On May 15, 2018 he issued the following statement as part of his Presidential Message on Ramadan: “Ramadan reminds us of the richness Muslims add to the religious tapestry of American life. In the United States, we are all blessed to live under a Constitution that fosters religious liberty and respects religious practice. Our Constitution ensures Muslims can observe Ramadan in accordance with the dictates of conscience and unimpeded by government. By doing so, the Constitution also furnishes varied opportunities for all Americans to deepen their understanding of the human soul.” (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/presidential-message-ramadan/).
(And, these again are more examples of how the president is fulfilling Isa. 5:20 and 2 Cor. 11:14. One cannot be a Christian and promote, support, or join in with the worship of idols. Sister Tammy, would you like to give the scriptures and whatever else you have prepared, please?)
Yes, sure, I’m just going to share and I’ve shared these a number of times in the discussions we’ve had on here. These are just scriptures about separation. Obviously, we are not to be yoked together with unbelievers. What do Satan and Christ have in common? The children of God and the children of the devil, you know. What have we in common with idol worshipers? Nothing. They just need the gospel. This is what we ought to be doing. And, we don’t need the freedom of speech from any political system to tell us to go out and preach the gospel. It’s given to us freely by the Lord Jesus Christ and we are empowered by the Spirit of God. This is how we go in the way of the Lord. We don’t trust in man, so I’m just going to share the scriptures on separation and a few more on not trusting in man.
The Bible teaching of separation forbids God's people from fellowshipping with error (Romans 16:17-18; II Corinthians 6:14-18; 11:1-4; Galatians 1:8-9; Ephesians 4:14-15; 5:11; Philippians 3:1-2; Colossians 2:8; II Thessalonians 3:6; I Timothy 1:3; 6:3-5; 6:20-21; II Timothy 2:16-21; 3:5,13; Titus 1:10-14; 3:9-11; II Peter 2:1-3; 3:17; 2 John 7-11; Jude 3; Revelation 2:2,6,14-16,20-23; 18:4).
These all tell us to come out from amongst her; have nothing to do with the Babylonian system; false teachers; expose them. And, not only expose them, have absolutely nothing to do with them. And, if they repent, of course, they can be restored back into the fellowship. But, we’re not seeing that; we’re just seeing people going along their merry way thinking let’s just make this world wonderful, peaceful, and let’s all be happy together, Christian or not. Of course, we are in this world and we are called to live at peace with all men as much as it lies with us. But, that never condones giving error, encouraging it along, but even seeming as you’re okay with this. There must be the sword that comes in and divides truth from error. That’s what the Holy Spirit will do. It’s not one big happy family with Muslims, Christians, Jews. We can’t just get along. That’s the problem. Jesus came to bring division and that doesn’t mean He didn’t come to bring peace, you know, He did. But, only where the truth is found. And, this is what He’s talking about; where there’s truth and error there will be issues. And, this is not what we’re seeing. Everybody’s just joining, but like you’ve said, this is all culminating to the one world order. This is exactly how the Bible says it will be, but we’re never to be silent on this. We’re to speak about it in hopes that people will come out of this and come away. Even though it’s going to happen; this is going to continue; evil men and seducers are going to wax worse and worse, but the admonition is there for us to preach the gospel, that people will understand these errors and come away. And, even if they don’t, the truth has still gone out there. God is faithful.
Just a few scriptures here about not trusting in man:
Psalms 118:8-9 - [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
Isaiah 31:1 - Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because [they are] many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
Jeremiah 17:5 - Thus saith the LORD; Cursed [be] the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
Psalm 146:3-5 - Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
(Thank you so much, sister Tammy, for all of this.
Next, I want to give a couple of examples of how the president’s accomplishments concerning the economy are hoodwinking people to think these are blessings from God. We have said it before and we will say it again, that God does not bless societies that sanction the murder of a million babies a year).
But, Steve Shultz, the editor of Elijah’s List, and managing editor of Breaking Christian News, had this to say in the introduction to a recent article entitled, “Can Trump Really Make America Great Again?” Steve Shultz was speaking of Charles Payne who has a show on Fox Business News: “When I follow his advice, my stock portfolio prospers. It's kind of this simple...what Charles Payne says to buy, I buy, and what he says to sell, I sell. That's it. I recommend you start reading and digesting everything that comes out of this mans' mouth!” And, then, in the article itself by Charles Payne we read: “We are on the cusp of a new era that is going to help America once again achieve greatness and return to her place as the strongest and most powerful economy in the world…Read my special free report, Making America Great Again: 3 Companies Rebuilding America, to discover the companies leading the charge…There aren’t many sure things in life but this is one of them: We are a nation of builders and innovators and there is no stopping the American drive when it’s unleashed. With President Trump getting government…out of the way, stirring optimism and focusing on America first, we can make America great again.” (http://breakingchristiannews.com/articles/display_art.html?ID=24694) (So, this article is listed as a paid advertisement at the Breaking Christian News site, but as the editor of two supposedly Christian publications should Steve Shultz be promoting Charles Payne as he promotes Donald Trump and the economy? What is going on?)
Additionally, there was a clip going around on Facebook on June 7 of Laura Ingraham of Fox News reporting these figures on the economy: Jobless claims are at a 44-year low. Layoffs are near a 50-year low. 223,000 jobs were added in May. (https://www.facebook.com/FoxNewsVoices/videos/1061640720651149/UzpfSTEwMDAwMDQ5MDQ0NzIwNzoyNTMxNzU4NzkzNTE3MTEx/) (However, since when is the state of the economy supposed to concern Christians? Do we not have amazing promises from God that He will take care of us? I want to read a few verses in Matt. 6: Verses 25 and 26 – “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” And, then verses 31-33 – “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Dear brethren, we must absolutely think about where our affections lie. I also want to read Col. 3:1-4: “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory”).
Next, I want to mention an article in Time magazine entitled “Donald Trump Vowed to Close the Gap Between Church and State” from August 15, 2016. In a speech to a gathering of evangelical pastors in Orlando, Florida a few days earlier, Donald Trump stated the following:
“If I get elected President, one of the early things, one of the absolute first things I’m going to do is work on totally knocking out the Johnson Amendment,” he said. “The power you have is so enormous. It’s not like you represent two percent of the country and it’s going to be difficult. You’re probably 75, 80 percent. If you want to put your full weight … I mean, can you imagine if all of your people start calling up the local congressman and the local senator?”
Trump told the pastors that evangelical voters would make the difference in key battleground states like Florida, Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania. And if white, evangelical Christians put him in the White House, he promised to return the favor.
“You have a chance to do something that will be earth shaking,” he said. “I literally mean it: earth shaking. You got to get your people out to vote.” http://time.com/4452309/trumps-evangelical-voters/ (Well, how interesting is that? Just the title of the article even; Trump vows to close the gap between church and state. I mean, we constantly say we are seeing the groundwork being laid for the one world order and here is just another example. And, then, couldn’t Trump’s offer be considered at least a partial bribe? Additionally, he uses the phrase “your people” in reference to members of these pastors’ churches. But, we are often fed the line Trump is a Christian so why would he refer to other Christians as “your people?” I think we all know the answer to that. And, in answer to those who would say why don’t people leave Donald Trump alone and just pray for him, I would say we do, because he definitely needs to hear the true gospel).
Sister Tammy, that is all I have at this time. I just pray for people to wake up, to seek the truth, and to stop following man.
