DR. JAMES & SHIRLEY DOBSON – JAMES DOBSON FAMILY INSTITUTE
There were over 300 “faith leaders” who supported Franklin Graham’s Special Day of Prayer for Pres. Trump. (https://www.facebook.com/notes/connie-schuetz-wright/special-day-of-prayer-june-2-2019/620410158462960/)
I am going to share a series of Facebook posts concerning the ecumenical outlook of some of these “faith leaders.” Many of these are part of the WOF and NAR and preach the false doctrines inherent in these systems so we already know we should not follow their ministries. The examples I will share in these posts, demonstrating their ecumenism, provide even more reasons to mark and avoid them. So many are leading their followers straight to Rome and, sadly, many of their adherents are oblivious to the dangers involved. The groundwork continues to be laid for the one world religion and the one world government, but the Lord says, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Rev. 18:4).
If you are unfamiliar with the dangers of ecumenism here is some information: (https://www.thenarrowpath.co.uk/ecumenism.html)
Much information concerning James Dobson’s teaching and activities can be found at this link along with many facts concerning Focus on the Family. This information is quite helpful even though he no longer heads Focus on the Family: (http://jbeard.users.rapidnet.com/…/expos…/dobson/general.htm)

Now for the ecumenical examples:
Dr. James C. Dobson holds a Ph.D. in child development from the University of Southern California. In addition, he possesses honorary degrees from several universities including Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, a Catholic university. (http://alphaomegaoutrea.powweb.com/id43.html)
(Note: Why would a Catholic university feel compelled to award an "evangelical leader" an honorary degree?)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
As reported in this article (https://www.christianitytoday.com/…/decemberweb-…/22.0a.html) from Dec. 1, 2000: “James Dobson and Charles Colson were two participants in a conference at the Vatican last week on the global economy's impact on families. During the conference, the two Protestants met with the pope. Dobson later told Catholic News Service that though he has theological differences with Roman Catholicism, when it comes to the family, there is far more agreement than disagreement, and with regard to moral issues from abortion to premarital sex, safe-sex ideology and homosexuality, I find more in common with Catholics than with some of my evangelical brothers and sisters."
(Note: While some may think people from different faiths can work together on issues such as abortion, for example, people often become friends and the gospel is not shared as we see in this quote from James Dobson after the meeting: "I felt very comfortable with my new Catholic friends. It was hard for me to leave…" (https://www.sermonaudio.com/new_details.asp?ID=9123).

On April 2, 2005, Focus on the Family Chairman Dr. James C. Dobson released the following statement in response to news that Pope John Paul II had died:
"Today's passing of Pope John Paul II is an immeasurable loss – not only to our friends of the Roman Catholic faith, but to the entire world. We found common cause with him and with the 'culture of life' he espoused so eloquently; the legacy he left us is to be cherished. While we grieve the profound loss of this remarkable man, we celebrate his life, his ministry and his undeniable impact on the world. During his time as leader of the Catholic Church, he embodied the belief that freedom is a gift from God that should not be infringed by any government; that all life is precious and should be protected; and that dying is part of living and should not be feared nor hastened artificially. Pope John Paul was an uncompromising voice on the sanctity of life – in fact, his was one of the greatest contributions of the 20th century to that cause. The 'culture of life' will forever be indebted to the man who championed the value of all human life, even to his last breath." (https://web.archive.org/…/www.charityw…/charity63/05922.html)
(Note: No one with any knowledge of the false teachings of the Catholic church would ever give such praise to one of its leaders. We can come to no other conclusion than that Dr. Dobson is a shill for Rome).

In June of 2013 James Dobson was one of many “evangelical leaders” to sign the “Marriage Solidarity Statement” discussed here: (https://www.lc.org/…/pr_marriage_solidarity_statement_06201…)
From the statement: “We stand together as Christians in defense of marriage and the family and society founded upon them. While we come from a variety of communities and hold differing faith perspectives, we are united in our common faith in Jesus Christ."
(Note: However, Catholics deny the sufficiency of Christ’s death on the cross and thereby worship “another Jesus,” making the above statement untrue).
Here are a few of the signatories:
Deacon Keith Fournier - Common Good Alliance, Catholic Online, Co-Drafter
Fr. Paul CB Schenck, MA, EdD - National Representative Catholics United for Life
Fr. Randolph W. Sly - Common Good Foundation
Fr. Frank Pavone - National Director, Priests for Life
President, National Pro-Life Religious Council
Father James F. Kauffmann - Pastor Saint Benedict Parish
Rev. Johannes L. Jacobse - American Orthodox Institute
Ben Carson - Current Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Seventh Day Adventist
